2. Mobitrix Desktop Server Install
1. Pre-Requisites
1.1 Microsoft Office
1. Install Microsoft Office 2010 or Microsoft Office 2013 on the desktop where Mobitrix Desktop Server is to be installed
1.2 Box Sync Utility
1. Visit link https://sites.box.com/sync4/
2. Click on the Download Sync 4 button on the top-right portion of the screen
3. Once the download is completed, go to the location where the file was downloaded and double click on the file “BoxSyncSetup.exe”
4. Upon being asked “Do you want to run this file” please click on “Run”
5. Click on the checkbox next to “I agree to the license terms and conditions” and wait for a tick mark to appear in that box. Click on “Install”
6. Upon being asked “Do you want to allow following program to make changes to this computer?” Click on “Yes”
7. Once the installation is complete please use your existing Box user information, to log in into the Box Sync Utility
8. Click on “Log In” button
9. The Box setup is complete
2. Mobitrix Desktop Server Install
1. Make sure that the user installing Mobitrix Desktop Server has Administrative privileges
2. Mobitrix Desktop Server has to be installed on any version of Windows 7 Operating System
3. If you have a Firewall turned on or an Anti-Virus running on your machine, please visit the following link and open port 45000 on your computer: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308127
4. Using your preferred browser on a Windows 7 machine, go to www.mobitrix.io/serverdownload
5. Click on “Download” button to download the Mobitrix installer on your Windows 7 computer
a. Click on “See Instructions” button to get a detailed installation instruction handbook
b. Alternatively you may also right click on Mobitrix Desktop Server and click on “Save Link As”
6. Save the file “MobitrixServerv0_1.exe” anywhere on your desktop and wait for download to finish
7. Upon download completion, go to the location where the file has been downloaded and double click on the “MobitrixServerv0_1.exe” file
8. Click on the checkbox next to “I agree to the license terms and conditions” and wait for a tick mark to appear in that box. Click on “Install”
9. Upon being asked “Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer”, click on “Yes” to commence installation
10. Upon installation completion you’ll be asked to restart your computer. Please click on Restart
11. After the system restart look for the following icon on your Desktop, and double click on it
a. If this icon is not found on your desktop, go to the following path on your computer
“C:\Program Files (x86)\MobiTrix\server\” and double click on the
“ViduraServerConsole” Application
12. Upon being asked “Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?” Click on “Yes”
13. Wait for a login Window to appear after clicking “Yes” in the previous step
a. If no Window is appears - Click on the system tray button to find the Mobitrix icon.
14. Click on “g+ Sign in with Google button”
15. Provide any existing Google id along with password in the two boxes that appear and hit the Enter button
a. Alternatively you may even scroll down
using the scroll bar and click on Sign-In

Click on “Accept” on the next Window

In the next Window that appears click on “Start”
18. Your Mobitrix Desktop Server login is complete
3. Mobitrix Client Log In
1.
Single tap on Mobitrix Icon on your iPad
2. Use “g+” option to access the computer on which you the Mobitrix Desktop Server is installed.Use “Explore” option to play around with the product by connecting to one of our demo servers.
3. Google O_AUTH window will open where you need to provide the same Google credential which you had provided in your Windows 7 desktop. Click on sign in after entering the credentials
4. Click on “Accept”, after clicking on Sign In on the previous window
5. The Windows 7 desktop that was used to log in into Mobitrix Server, will now appear on this
Window. Single tap on the
desktop icon that now appears on your iPad
a. Click on Refresh button, if your desktop
does not automatically appear within a few
6. The next Window shows that the iPad is now trying establish connection with your computer.
10. Mobitrix Ribbon native to the iPad will come up on opening any office document.
11. Use Mobitrix Ribbon to productively interact with Office documents. Tap on the “C” (Customize) icon to add/ remove features from the Mobitrix Ribbon
13.Tap on the blue icon on the right to bring up the Collaboration Radial.
14. Provide Free Hand annotations, Text tags and Voice annotation using Collaboration feature
Voice Tags:
- Tap on the Voice-tag icon on Collaboration feature to add Voice annotations

Single tap anywhere on the screen to see this icon - Starting
speaking/ recording your voice

Tap the same icon again to stop recording and this icon
appears in its place
Crop (to be used when only a certain portion of the screen is to be shared):
- Tap on Crop icon to select a portion of your screen
- Long press on any part of the screen and drag your finger without lifting it to create a cropped box
- Lift your finger when the desired area is selected
Save:Single-tap on the blue icon and select "Save" all your annotations.
Preview and Email:
- Open the collab radial again and tap on “P” preview mode
- Tap on Edit option to select and mail specific annotated pages
- Tap on the mail icon
15. Tap on the Mobitrix icon on the toolbar to bring up more options. Tap on the same icon again to hide it
17. Tap on "<" icon to goback
18. Tap on “Home” button to go back to the Home page.
19. Tap on “Applications” tab, to go to the Applications page. A list of all applications existing on your computers get pre-populated
20. You may even search, by typing the application name on the search tab. Single tap on any application name, to launch that application
21. Tap on the Search tab, to search for any file on your computer or Box account
22. To search for a file on your computer, type the file-name or file-type that you want to retrieve and tap on the Serach button on the keyboard.
The Search Results will begin to appear on this window.
Click on “Load More” option to load more search results
23. Box Search: Tap on the Box icon in the search tab to log into your Box account. It is necessary to use the same Box credential that has been provided on the User PC
In the Window that appears next, click on “Grant Access to Box”
